Cyclescheme is a way to pay for your new bike through a monthly salary sacrifice. The payments are taken from your gross salary, whilst also meaning you don't pay tax or national insurance or interest fees.

Purchasing through Cyclescheme allows you to save between 25% and 39% offering a tax efficient way to buy your next bike. Once you've checked your employer is signed up for the Cyclesheme, you can go ahesad and ask us for a quote or place an oredr if you already have a certificate.

Most employers do not limit the order value with Cyclescheme. This means you can browse the entire range of bikes, including e-bikes and pair with complimentary accessories. Please check with your employer for any order value limit befor appplying for your certificate

You cannot add your own funds to the transaction, this is determined by the guidance from the Department for Transport who have calrified that the entire order value muct be included on your certificate and adding funds is not possible.

DISTANCE SELLING REGULATIONS

By law, under the Distance Selling Regulations designed to protect customers buying goods online you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 7 days from the day after delivery for a full refund including any contractually necessary delivery costs paid.
 
In order to cancel under Distance Selling Regulations you are obliged to write to us within 7 days either by letter or email stating your intention to do so – a telephone call will not suffice for these purposes. Unless expressly notified otherwise, Apple County Cycles Limited will expect the return of any delivered goods in the event of an order cancellation. Unless faulty, you are responsible for the return cost.
 

I NEED TO RETURN AN UNWANTED ITEM 

We are happy to take back unused items in ‘as new’ condition for a refund, credit or exchange:
 
1. Goods must be returned within 14 Days of purchase
2. Goods must be in original packaging where applicable and packaged to prevent damage in transit.
3. Goods must not be used, retail packaging must be complete and you must return all component parts. If you are returning a bike it must be in new condition. If it is used, we will deduct an appropriate amount for wear and tear.
4. Return delivery costs are non-refundable
5. Full monetary refund will only be issued for items returned within 14 days from the day after collection or delivery

Once you have appplied for your certificate the process typically takes between 3-14 days, depending on how quickly your employer processes your application. If you have an application in place, you can check the staus via our Cyclescheme login here

The standard period for a Cyclesheme Certificate is 12 months. Some employers do offer 6, 18 and 24 month schemes, so check with your employer.

You can now get parts as well as clothing and accessories. The only cycle to work scheme exceptions are GPS ride trackers and navigation devices, bike racks for cars, cameras, turbo trainers or rollers, gift
cards, nutritional products and foodstuffs.
